It's the "just one time" statistic. While it is possible, we do see more transmission with discordant couples over time, with more exposures, just the accumulation of experiences makes it more likely that transmission will occur. But I have seen people get herpes with a single encounter, yes.
I'm sorry, but once again, I have no statistics on this.
Terri
Why do you think it's unlikely to get HSV-1 orally after just 1 time?
If you had to guess, doing oral with a girl with no sores and just one time, what % would you give?
Normally, yeast infections don't cause discharge or burning while urinating.
Terri
Thank you for the reply.
I am waiting for test results.
I also was researching the difference between yeast infection symptoms and herpes symptoms.
I have clear discharge sometimes
I don't have any sores or blisters
a little burning while urinating
Is this closer to a UTI/Yeast infection or herpes?
I think the chances of your contracting HSV 1 at one episode of receiving oral sex is very small indeed.
Have you actually been tested to know if you already have HSV 1?
