What do herpes1 levels really mean?

So I got tested for Herpes 1 and 2 never had an outbreak. The IgG test was done.I was negative for Herpes 2 but positive for Herpes 1. It was 3.67 and it stated that it was high.I called the lab and asked what it meant by high oppose to a lower result, but I didn't get much help she only st,carrated that I needed to contact my doctor for treatment. I just want to know what does a high really mean, or my levels. And if I was positive with a lower result does that mean I wouldn't have to contact my Doctor. What's the big difference about positives? Extra precautions, how long I was infected, carrier, non carrier? Thanks!

Thank you very much! Guess I was just a little worried since the result was in bold.

what does your actual numeric results mean? nothing actually. It doesn't mean you aren't more contagious than someone else or that the virus is more active - it just means that you are infected with hsv1. Since you can't recall symptoms either orally or genitally, odds are your hsv1 is oral like most adults.   http://www.ashastd.org/std-sti-works/Herpes/oral-herpes.html  has more info on oral herpes for more reading.
