What the heck is on my fingers?!

I don't know what this is..  When I was a child I would get a sore on my lip every now and then.  But it only happened like three times.  Now, I don't know if it went to my hands or what, but last week I saw tiny bumps on my middle, index, ring, and pinky finger on my right hand.  I put alcohol on them and covered them with bandaids.  They went away in a couple of days.  But today I saw the same thing on my left hand.  They weren't there yesterday.  They are very hard to bust, but when I busted one, clear liquid came out.  They don't itch or hurt at all.

Oh yes, it would be very rare for it to be on both hands. It is (probably) quite painful, and the blisters would probably scab over on their own unless you burst them.

This is just a vague possibility. Please, please check with a doctor. Skin rashes are very hard to diagnose.

That sounds like Herpetic Whitlow???? I thought Herpectic Whitlow was painful and the blisters/sores would burst and scab on their own??? and would't it be VERY VERY VERY rare for it to be all over both hands????

It may be herpetic whitlow - but this is very rare. Many people had cold sores as children, but herpetic whitlow is rather unusual. However, your symptoms sound rather compatable with this diagnosis.

HOWEVER (and this is a big however), your symptoms are somewhat unspecific, and you may have some sort of seasonal rash, hives, allergy, bug/spider bites, scabies...you should probably see a doctor to sort it all out.

Did you have tingling/pain before these bumps appeared?
