What to do??? I feel so terrible

I have been diagnosed with HSV2 and HPV. I had no clue what a huge impact herpes would have on my comfortability and pain level.

I feel random spots of intense itching all over my body, I am going through a shingles outbreak and now have cellulitus on the site where the shingles are (lower right arm). I don't know how to clean and care for the lesion on my arm.

Constant random sharp and brusie like pains in random areas of my body (feet, thighs, breast etc). I am always sleepy and feeling exhausted even if I've done nothing exasperating during the day.

Does any on have any suggestions or advice?

a shingles rash will not spread after the initial ob and it stays on one dermatone.  it's unfortunate that they didn't culture your shingles rash too to confirm that indeed it is shingles.

I assume it was your hsv2 genital infection that was diagnosed with the cultures and blood work?

how are you treating everything at this point?

you need to see your provider and get a much better work up done. I know this is hard on a weekend but find a clinic you can be seen at if this isn't getting better.

Just a visual and history based diagnosis. I went to the ER and they visually checked it and diagnosed cellulitus/herpes zoster aka shingles. I was diagnosed after three diff. tests two negative and 1 positive via cultures and blood work. It was unclear to me wether I was infected or not until the symptoms began to take affect. Now the rash or whatever it is, has been spreading.

how were you diagnosed as having shingles? did you have a lesion culture done that came back as herpes zoster or just a visual diagnosis?

how did they diagnose you as having hsv2?
