genital herpes and cervical cancer
my wife and I had genital herpes for years, now I read that people with genital herpes are at a higher risk of having cervical cancer, is it true and is there anything we can do to lessen the risk. I really appreciate your answer, thank you!
herpes is never linked to cervical cancer. Only HPV increases your wife risk of this cancer. HPV 16 and HPV 18 are responsible for cervical cancer
I have never heard that HSV increases the risk of cervical cancer. HPV on the other hand, is linked to cervical cancer.
