when they did your lesion culture, did they type it to know if you have hsv1 or hsv2?

do you have a regular partner? if so, have they been tested yet to know their status.

If you and a partner are trying to figure out who had herpes first, your blood testing needs to be done sooner rather than later.

Your culture test stating you have HSV is conclusive and an antibody test won't do you any good.  A blood test can become positive in as soon as 2 weeks and take up to 3 months when majority of people will become positive.
