With Herpes will there always be chronic joint pains and swollen lymph nodes for the rest of my life with no outbreak?

If your mouth were infected, the symptoms would be oral. But that doesn't change anything; I stand by my previous replies.

if i had kissed some one who has hsv 1 and my partner engaged in oral sex with me, wouldn't i also be experiencing symptoms on my mouth like swollen lymph nodes on my neck, cold sores, and a sore throat ?

No, not if not accompanied by visible blisters, open sores, etc.

I have one last question, I've also been experiencing some stings in my genital area as well but no outbreak and I've only had experienced them 2 days that were apart since exposure and my exposure was late October. Could that be herpes?

Herpes doesn't cause such symptoms. Something else is going on. Discuss it with your doctor. Good luck!
