concerned, scared.. help please?

I have a couple of bumps on the back of my tongue, they're the same color as my tongue and they don't hurt or anything like that, I just noticed them by brushing my teeth. I've had them for around 3 days now I think, and I'm really concerned about them and scared to tell my parents or go to a doctor yet. Do you have any suggestions on what it could be? I'm really scared it's an STD. Please help me out

A  salty taste to your tongue is not a herpes issue. see your provider if it's concerning you.

For the past week I feel like my tongue is salty...I have not been sexually active so let's "rule" that out. Would it be from a tooth cavity? I brush my tongue but I still taste it and I try to spit it out but it is just a clear liquid.

Thanks Em, you made me feel a lot better! But are inflammed taste buds like kind of big, not too big but bigger than any regular burt taste bud.

This doesn't sound like any STD - maybe inflammed taste buds?  If you remain concerned about the bumps, go see a doctor to get an accurate diagnosis.
Best,
Em
