you need to see a dermatologist this week for further evaluation.
yes. but what is this now on my lips? i dont get it. i've report this monday. i will let you know. but this lip is sore, cracked and no matter how much i clean the yellowish stuff there. i can't wait to get my normal lip. the lower liner of my lip is now infected. i use soap water, as doctor told me. it didnt' work. i am so fed off my life. please help! what can i do to get this better/? i 've been home cuz i do not want anybody to see me like this.
ok so you did have azithromycin initially with your chlamydia diagnosis - that's good.
i took that pill a month ago along with rocephin when i went to ER and diagnosed with chlymidia. and this happen after .
no. not that one. just acyclovir.
I didn't ask about acyclovir.
yes. ive been taking acyclovir 400 mg tablet since sunday and i'vent seen any improvement yet. today i went to visit my private doctor. she doubled the dosage. asking me to take 2 tablets twice a day making it 4 tablets a day and prescribed 800 mg acyclovir to take three times a day. its freaking me out , to consume all this medication and see no improvement but i see my neck is very dry, itchy and red rashes. i just cleaned the part with alcohol and applied lotion. i don't want any further infection or any extreme side effects. it feels like i'm mentally gonna go crazy cuz i can't stop thinking about my lips. i have been home for a week now, missed my school, and work. is there anyone expert in herpes whom i can consult with? please help me! rest of all other doctors seem to just rush me out of their place by just saying i've herpes and just take dosage of acyclovir.
we treat gonorrhea with rocephin. did you also get a dose of azithromycin to take orally too when you were seen?
no never for herpes. today i went to std clinic the one where ER referred me to, but they told me they don't do herpes testing and asked me why was i there. i dont understand this people in ER. i was postive for chlamydia and got treated the same day with rocephin. after that i had contact with one guy, unprotected intercourse with oral. then now am going through this.
this could be many things including oral herpes , fungal infection or bacterial infection ( impetigo ). Unfortunately the ER isn't the greatest place to be seen for issues like this. seeing a dermatologist, ENT specialist or even just an experienced family practioner/internal medicine specialist are your better options.
best of luck and stop back and let us know how your appointment went !

also have you ever been tested for herpes or had cold sores before?
