cutting edge research in herpes 2 research

What is the current state of research in herpes 2.  I have a client who has been infected by spouse, has recently had physician confirm that herpes 2 test was positive but client reports never having symptoms and never having outbreak.  I have heard that sometimes the test itself is in question?  Also is anyone working on cure, ant cutting edge research to report?

The newest thing in herpes is the helicase primase inhibitors. They are currently in trials.  In initial research studies they were more potent than the current medications we have.

Nothing else is anywhere near phase 2 trials to report on :(

depends on test! the focus alissa test has a problem w false positives under 3.5 some people even were telling me 3.0. if they had a pcr culture done its almost a def. yes! there sitll needs to be conformation testing otherwise. in the u.s they say they are working on a cure but a country outside of the u.s. will find it before we do thanks to the fda's strict laws (the fda dosent really dont help us as much as we think especially with testing and research trails hell they cant even research a drug fully before the side affects kill someone in rare cases)
