dry lips or oral herpes?

i had oral sex and heavy petting (both w/o condom) frm a sex worker. 5-6 wks after tat encounter, my tongue had this whitish coating on it especially at the inner tongue, the outer towards the tip had a milder whiteness(scrubed it off and no blood was undernath). i noticed tat the inner wall of my mouth had the whiteness too but wen i tried scrubbing it off, i couldnt. the lower part of my lips felt dry and suddenly there's this darkened mark on it, it would then be able to peel off slowly by slowly each day.
a few days after tat, i suddenly had this cut type of pain on my right side of the lips and tat blacken mark was there also, the next day, i felt this tingling feel on the tip of my tongue and wen i looked the mirror, i could see tat there a small white protuding thing there bt wen i look at my tongue from an angle, my tongue looks like it's been split in 2 slightly(duno how to explain), then, a few days later again, the left side felt the cut feeling and suddenly there's tat blacken mark. i didnt feel or saw anything on my lips only after tat cut pain. every morning, my lips will haf this white dead skins surrounding the whole lip as well(been hafing tat be4 the encounter bt it seems worse now), bt after tapping water on it, it disappears.
my lips r v dry, it's all wrinkled up and peeling off. could tat be the cause?
i also had a sore throat a few days after the 1st darkened lip prob and i developed a fever for 1 day and my nose started running, i kept rubbing it den the part below my right nostril felt a sharp pain. it looks like it's teared. the next day, it started healing and the next, it peeled off bt touching it now, i still could feel roughness there.
another thing, i've heard tat herpes is contagious, well, i'm living wif my couple frens. we wash our cloth together and stuff. the guy started hafing a sore throat a wk after i had my sore throat and some teeth pain which he describes as not normal coz his teeth is not decaying or has any hole in it(this was be4 i had any symptoms). his wife had this big sore thingy on her thumb during wen my lips prob began. she said it was not painful, it been a wks and i noticed tat it's gone but juz yesterday, she complained of rashes tat itch on her upper thigh, she applied some rashes cream and it wen away but she still felt the itch at night, so she put some medicated plasters on her thigh, wen she took it off, her thigh had many red spots on it.
plz help! i'm really worried about it. is this symptoms similar to herpes?

Its not sounding like herpes, but you need to get it checked.
Also, if it is herpes, your friends won't get it by doing laundry together, etc. They would only get it if you kissed them.
