genital herpes?

Last night I noticed what seems to be a small blister on the head of my penis near the hole or whatever. Im kinda freaked out about itandd think I might have herpes. Im going to see a doctor tomorrow but wanted to see if anyone knew any other related causes for what ive explained. I dont think I can deal with herpes. -___-

Get tested anyway.  If you've never been tested you'll never know.

I concur with shandy, plus the penis head is much rarer than the shaft to have a single lesion. It may well be an irritation from rubbing or a patch of fungus.

An initial outbreak usually occurs 5-7 days after sex and it's usually multiple blisters and very painful.

Also, the last time I had sex was maybe over about a month and a half ago, possibly 2 months is that too long for symptoms?
