I have herpes and I'm 37 weeks pregnant. Have you already had an outbreak? I had 2 throughout my pregnancy and as of now I'm taking these pills called axyclovir (I believe that's how u spell it) I take a pill every 4 hrs and the reason I'm taking them is to prevent me from having an outbreak around the time I go into labor because I do NOT want to have a c-section. I want to deliver natural and as long as u don't have an outbreak at that time u can . I don't see why having herpes would prevent you from having kids. I wish the best of luck to u and u can message me if you'd like :)

genital herpes will not keep you from having a family.

there is an entire chapter on herpes and pregnancy in the free herpes handbook at www.westoverheights.com.  it'll give you the basics :)

do you have hsv1 or hsv2 genitally?

since you had it prior to trying to become pregnant, it really won't be much of an issue for you.

feel free to ask any questions you have :)
