growing pubic hair, treatments

i recently have been diagnosed with genital herpes.Currently having my 1st OB -  its only been days and i am in so much pain. My pubic hair is growing and I am wondering if i should just leave it to grow so that it does not cause any infections or just shave it. I am also having my period and i dont know what to do anymore. I have been feeling down a lot since I have been diagnosed and I dont know how to cope with it anymore. I have bought and epson salt however i dont know how to use it. I am also having troubles with pooping I have bought laxatives pills but i dont know if it is safe to use it if i have my menstruation as i am having stomach cramps.

please someone help me...

Just saying its herpes is not good enough. ask for the test results and what type they "said" you have as this might not be a herpes outbreak but result from your period.

they just said it was genital herpes and gave me anti biotics and some cream to 'numb' the pain. they also took a sample of my blood to see if i was HIV positive.
