i did a std test when i receive the results herpes simplex 1 & 2 igg came back positive . I did another test at another lab which show 44.7 positive for herpes simplex 1 igg
the results are > 5 arbU/ml

Should i take another test to confirm because it might be incorrect again

It isn't the lab really that is the fault.  It is the test sometimes can be off.

i had another test taken it is negative for herpes 1 & 2 . This is my third test so what i am saying some medical people really mess you up because my boyfriend who i have been with came back negative and we have been together a long period and i have no symptoms what i suggest to everyone is to make sure and take a second test to confirm what you have some medical labs really screw you up

you may have more than one thing going on at the same time.  follow up monday with your provider for better answers.

hi grace can my test for herpes be wrong because my sypmtoms are more like chicken pox i have a rash all along my neck and my face i have no cold sore my lips are chapped and my whole body is scratching

sorry but I can't help you with your test results. they do not use tests in the caribean widely that I am familiar with.

i am confuse as hell now my whole body is itching , i'm going to the doctor on monday , i have sores starting to develop on my whole body my mother says it is chicken pox , did my body started to produce antibodies for chicken and not herpes simplex 1 which came back positive . because i do not think that herpes breaks out like that this is madness .

no i'm not in the us i'm in tobago in the caribbean , i can not understand what is happening because he is my only boyfriend and i did kiss another guy and asked him to take a test his own is also negative so what shall i do because they both can not be negative and i'm positive my boyfriend and i have been sexually active for 2 years , if his own is negative should not my own be also. Since i found out my lips have be chapped but i have never gotten any syptoms of the virus .Please help me anyone

i also ask my boyfriend to take the test his own is negative for both 1 & 2 . I fe el so distraught because i can not seem to know where i got it from i feel sad and depressed
