herpes ?

If you can help keep my sanity
I have had now 3 weeks of burning sensations in my penis, groin feet and shins.
it also burns for a small period of time after I wee and looks red at the urethra - Been to drs and said I had no infection.

My concern is Herpes - Ive also developed a small pimple (red) on my foreskin - Im getting worried !!!!

My penis is very sensitive to the touch and if I touch to inspect I start burning again

Any advice would be appreciated - GUM thinks its stress and anxiety but Hav not mentioned this pimple that popped up yesterday.

Ive generally been feeling not well- nausious in the morning and generally feeling crap - but this could be anxiety??

Does herpes cause these burning sensations and pimple?

this doesn't sound herpes related. continue to follow up with your providers as needed.

Grace and others - Id thought I give you an update and see if you had any further thoughts:
Currently at wk 7 still burning in Penis but this week is the shaft and the head/glands - it burns about 20 mins after I wee and tends to stop a few hrs later - but there seems to be some break now, but is still a problem
The burning sensations still continues down my legs and shins and feet as previous?
I used the canistan as the dr said I had the thrush, and this is when the consistant burning turnrd intermitent.
I vivited the dr and GUM again recently who say I have nothing to worry about but cant explain the burning - (I expressed my concern over herpes again) - they said i have nothing malicious and should continue my normal love life.

Does this ring any further bells? - My concern again was i had oral with a TS SW and although full protection was used I frightened I may of picked something up.

Other things (could be anxiety???) is that although my lips burn there is no blistering or anything - But this week for a few days i have had quite bad fatigue symptoms in my lower limbs - Or am I looking too critical -

Would love your comments please on this latest update
Dr is going to do a white blood count to rule out any infection - probably to put my mind at rest
many thanks

odds are this is a fungal infection and not herpes going on. since things have been going on for 3 weeks now, time to return to be seen again monday for further evaluation.

have they also examined your prostate to see if you contracted prostatitis if your urine testing for std's and ngu is negative?

thanks for helping gives me some confidence -
I was put at risk, and the thought that potentially I could get an infection is the concern - I believe the risk was low given what we did
been to the GUM centre who are doing a general screen - expressed my concern of herpes - they inspected me no test and basically said i need to relax a bit as most of the sympoms could be anxiety - but now the pimple has appeared (actually got cold sweat on seeing) - could be too early to worry probabaly should wait to see what happens with the pimple.
if i go back to the gum they probably think im mad and waisting time .
still the contact was a risk - but the drs comments concurred with yours that the burning wasnt a symptom.
The burning does get me worried and probably expect the worse -

3 weeks of symptoms as such would not be indicative of herpes - and shins/feet hurting and nausea are not herpes symptoms, at all. Sometimes a pimple is just a pimple.

You need to specify why you think this is herpes - are you sexually active? Do you have a regular partner? Have you ever been tested to know your herpes status?
