no reason to email results - what you've posted is the info that needed to be posted .
i just write and not looking at the page ..... u have email i can send mi result
those are the same test results.
sorry this is the correct test
HSV 1 IGG TYPE SPECIFIC AB........................>5.0
HSV 2 IGG TYPE SPECIFIC AB........................<0.90
INDEX............................................INTERPRETATION
1.10 POSITIVE
you are hsv1+. you are negative for hsv2.
not likely you have hsv2 genitally. all the acyclovir in the world won't help if this isn't herpes. I'd see a different provider for a better work up and treatment.
yes i have a blood test
HSV 1 IGG TYPE SPECIFIC AB........................>5.0
HSV 2 IGG TYPE SPECIFIC AB........................<0.90
INDEX............................................INTERPRETATION
1.10 POSITIVE
this assay is type especific and will diferentiate between HSV 1 and HSV 2
Intections...a single positive result only indicates precius immunoligic exposure and the level of antibody response may no be used to determine active infection or disease stage. the test shoul be repeated in 4 - 6 weeks when negative or equivocal result are abtained in suspected early herpes simplex disease.......
and i have another test like two weeks latter and the doctor say to i have herpes type 2 but mi doctor have this result
how were you diagnosed? if you had a blood test done, I will gladly take a look at the results if you want to post them here - e.g. hsv 1 igg 9.8 and hsv2 igg 3.7 or whatever they are. that way we can be sure you were properly tested and see if you need additional testing done.
just a burning sensation on the skin and no obvious lesions, isn't a herpes issue, even if you do have genital herpes.
