herpes symptoms

I get tingling in my testical area and after a day I feel burn in the tip of my penes for  2,3 days.frequntly it hapens for 2,3 months and goes off and starts again after 4,5 months, I cannot see any abnormal sines on my penes,                                                                                                                                                                                     pls, I need to know weather this herpes or anything else.

       yes,,,,,  in 1985  i am diagnosed as hsv 2.   i need to conform weather this due to herpes or any other std.  thanks for your consideration

  I had unprotected sex with a street prostitute on 1985,after few days I found two small white blisters on the right side of the tip of my penis.(with slight pain). I met std specilist and he diagnosed it as hsv 2(visibaly only). he priscriped me zovirex cream and tablets. until now never apeared that blisters or any outbrakes. but burn in the tip of penis remains after 2,3 days of tingling.its frequens 80 days tyice a year.when pass urine i feel some wounds in the tube.          and again,, after about 6 months of sex a redish patch appeared on the same place and i met same doctor  and he priscriped some antifungal cream. then it became ok.  in same period I had pain in my prostate gland.after prostste massage culture test i diagnosed as E COLAI and had some antibiotics.  after about 4 years I had sevear pain in my one testicle for 2 days and it became very small. these are my simptoms and I am kindly waiting for your response and answers for following questions,,                                                                                                                      1. does hsv outbrakes appear in urethra ?
   2. does hsv outbrakes remains  for 80 days ?
   3. I feel tingling away from the tip of penis and feel burn in tip of penis, is it herpes or it combined with any other desese ?
   4. is this penile candidasis or chlymedia or balanoposthitis. ??

oh my- you only had a visual diagnosis of herpes? you need to confirm your status with a type specific herpes igg blood test to see what your actual status is. A visual diagnosis only is wrong 1/3 of the time so this is well worth doing.

  Hi doctor, according to your advice I had test for HSV and following are the resualts,
        herpes virus(HSV) 1 igG      -   patient report ELISA unit  - negative 1.3 EU/ml
                                                     ref.range                         -   10.9 positive

       herpes virus(HSV) 2 igG      -   patient report ELISA unit    -  negetive 1.5 EU/ml
                                                    ref.range                           -   10.9       positive

     as these results I think hsv  negative with me and kindly I am wating for your response.

are you outside of the US?

I can't really comment on the accuracy of the testing you had done but it certainly appears that you are negative and your initial visual diagnosis was most likely wrong.

odds are your ongoing symptoms are still related to the prostatitis you have had. sometimes it takes awhile to get rid of that. continue to follow up with your provider as needed.
