herpes testing

Hello,

I'm a 23 year old male and I am facing a bit of a dilemma. About 5 months ago I received oral sex from a sex worker that was protected (1/15).I was very drunk and it was my cousins bachelor party. The next day after receiving oral sex I noticed I had a single mom painful water filled blister on my penis shaft (about 8-10 hours later). The oral was for about 10 minutes and I also masturbated pretty roughly that night so I think I may have just injured myself (TMI,sorry) I could not get it cultured til that Monday (1/18) I also had the clinic due a full screening including a type specific igg blood test. Everything was negative including the culture.
igg again (3weeks post)- negative for both HSV 1&2
Igg (6weeks)- HSV 1&2 negative
Full std screen and igg (14 weeks)- HSV 1&2 negative. Screen -ve
Due to all this testing can I put this thought of having herpes to rest?im coming up on 6 months should i do another igg test? Is the test accurate at 14 weeks for all stds? Did I wait to long for the culture?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Your tests are conclusive. Your original blister was way to soon and this isite clearly not hsv. You are fine

I just recently have noticed I have some irritation in my groin area on both sides also I had some red spots on my lower thigh that now look like scabs they never blistered and are not painful. I was wondering if these could be signs of a second outbreak. As u can tell I'm still worried.

No need for further testing. In your case if you acquired a new hsv1 infection you would surely know it. Don't  over think it. You are negative.
Igg testing can miss some hsv1 infections but people like you who didn't have any hsv. a new infection of hsv1 on the genitals would yield a nasty primary outbreak. No need for further worry.

Sorry to be a bother I just want to be sure I am on the safe side. I saw that the igg can miss cases of HSV1 and I've seen people in this forum testing later then 14 weeks and proving to be positive. Would it still not be worth getting another igg test? I am also nervous it may yield a false positive and cause me to further go crazy. Thanks again for your time!!

Thanks for the response!! I appreciate the help, I don't think she had a cold sore. I myself do not have a history of cold sores I should also add I had zero symptoms besides the one blister which was cultured.

Yes. The tests are conclusive  and you can put this behind you. At 14 weeks all tests are conclusive and no further testing is needed. The blister was surely due to the rough masterbation. Herpes lesions do not come on that fast 4 days later is average. Combine that with the fact your exposure was just about zero risk if she didn't  have a cold sore. No need to spend anymore energy worrying about herpes
Hope this helps
