herpes tests both negative but worried

Greetings- I had unprotected sex with a male I was dating (mistake I know).  approx. 6 weeks  later I noticed vaginal sores.  I went to planned parenthood and they assumed it was herpes 2 as did I.  A culture was done which was negative of the sores.  I know that these can often be false negative so I had a type specific blood test done as well which was also negative.  At that appointment (7 weeks after exposure) I also had the oral swab test done to check for HIV--this was negative as well.  It has been now almost 3 months since exposure and I noticed a small sore on the most far back spot on the side of my tongue.  Its not really painful--just annoying.  I read that HIV can sometimes cause mouth sores but could not find at what stage these occur.  I have not experianced any early sings of acute HIV infection (fever, rash, swollen glands, fatigue, loss of appetite etc)  I am curious if I should trust these results that I got for HIV at 7 weeks and another recent negative HIV result at 12 weeks (3 months)?  Also, should I trust the two herpes tests I got?
much thanks~~

Sorry its confusing--I had a herpes culture done 3 days after it started.  I had a type specific blood test at 6 weeks after the possible exposure to herpes.

I'm sorry but your post is confusing to me as to what you were tested for when. You are asking about hiv and hsv both and I'm not sure if you are accurately typing what you got tested for when.

So you got a lesion culture and a blood test for herpes done at 6 weeks or so post encounter? You had no other herpes blood testing done but that?

If you are worried about HIV, STAY AWAY FROM THE INTERNET.  No matter what symptoms you type in HIV always comes up.  Call the CDC HIV hotline, talk to a real expert not people who post on internet forums.

Now that I am negative for HIV at the 3 month mark...I am now still more concerned about the herpes tests.  I now trust the result of the HIV tests but, should I trust the negative herpes culture and blood test?
Also I have had no other outbreaks, sickness, swollen glands or any other symptoms like fever sometimes accompaning herpes infection.
any help??
thanks

no I had the herpes test done right after symptoms with the culture (negative result) then 1 week later I had the type specific herpes blood test done where I also had the first HIV test done (7 weeks after the exposure). also negative.  And I am not speaking with the individual who the encounter was with.  My question is should I trust both of the negative results on both tests and move on or not?
thanks !

The odds that you had sex with someone who has hiv and you got it from them are incredibly low.  Have you spoken to this partner about your concerns so that they can go get tested and share their results with you so that you can relax about it instead of retesting yourself a multitude of times?

did you mean you had herpes testing done at 7 weeks and 12 weeks?
