also reseasrch is starting to lean towards the idea that depression is .caused by infection such as viruses not just defective brain matter .ms can be caused by hhv6 when paired with epstien barr it becomes more likely because the 2 of them together become more troublesome.to my understanding.ebv causes sore joints and a few other problems .hhv 6 causes ngu i know they have caused me certain problems and have not been totally harmless .thats not to say that i dont have something else going on at the same time .i can definatley say herpes viruses have caused me many problems .
just wondering what your thoughts are now that research has shown that inflammation damages organs in the body .including the nervous system .due these findings and current research .they have found that inflammation causes dementia and schizophrenia .could it be that since viruses cause inflammation that herpes viruses are not completly harmless like they say .due to the fact that they cause inflammation .
i was also wondering if ebv coinfection would make it more likely to reactivate?
can reactivation of hhv 6 cause encephalitic conditions ?or ms ?
No that's a misunderstanding of the issue with HHV6. The only issue that HHV6 causes upon initial infection is a rash, maybe a little severe in adults.
All of the conditions you note above have other causes. Sometimes owing to the nature of the immune system being compromised, HHV6 adds to the complications but it hasn't been proven to trigger very many.
thats interesting because i have a bunch of symptoms that they say hhv6 causes oropharyngitis ,peripheral neuropathy ,thrombocytopenia, rashes i had lymphocytosis, tachycardia, mild pain in my abdomen fibromyalgia like symptoms, dry eye ,cough.mild diarrhea ive had everything on the list except for splenomegaly.it also said that in adults the initial infection can be severe.also someone else i know had identical symptoms and we found he had it .so i dont know what to think now .what would happen if you had a feww other herpes viruses along with it like ebvand molluscum and the flu and hpv.?would that make it more likely to wreak havoc insidew the body
Practically every human has this virus, there is no need to test for it. It is in no way surprising that you tested positive for it.
There is no 'treatment' of HHV6, nor is it an issue in 99% plus of people.
It is unlikely any symptoms you have are related to this virus.
