hsv2 and autoimmune disease

I have been diagnosis with an autoimmune disease. I am wondering if my hsv2 could have cause it. My recent blood work shows viremia, low vitamin d. I have major aches. I also have uvetis. I been diagnose with hsv over 4 years ago but recent since my autoimmune disease had flare up I am having more recurrent outbreaks. So I figured they must be related to each other. My Dr also said that my autoimmune could have been triggered by and virus or bacteria.

you might want to try switching to daily suppressive therapy and see if that helps at all. we know from hiv research that controlling herpes controls the hiv much better. Not sure we've looked at that with other infections but the basic science behind it makes sense for all chronic illness and hsv2 infection. I didn't read your other posts on the other forums to see how you were fairing otherwise.

as far as I know, nothing in the literature about hsv2 triggering sarcoidosis but I read herpes research, not sarcoidosis research.

how long have you had hsv2? do you take daily suppressive therapy for it?
