My bad....I took two tests. the first one had a HSV2 index of 1.87 and the 2nd HSV2 test had an index of 2.38. But like I asked...when does the body show index readings after exposure. Insn't 1.87 still to high after 5 days. I just heard it takes weeks...possibly even a month to get a positive reading. And how do you know you can't herpes from a hand job. Maybe she had a sore and touched it before she touched me...who knows.
okay...on the November 20th I was with the girl. On the November 25th. That is five days later. I went to docs. They gave me a HSV2 igG type spec aby (what is aby?...cuz I don't know). The index was 1.87. They also gave me an HSV IgM 1/2 Combination And that index was 2.15 Then I went to an std clinic on DEC 3rd...that was days 13 days later And I got a HSV type 2-Specific Ab, igG...and that index was 2.38 and they also gave me an HSV 1 IgG Type Spec I don't know anything about an immunoblot, or an Elisa. Should I? Please explain.(thanks) But even though I went to the docs on November 25 and got a HSV2 value of 1.87. That/s not right is it? Liked I asked before. Doesn't it take several weeks to even get an index reading?
One day is very quick to return a 2.5 on your blood test. But let's back up: find out exactly which blood test you were given - was it an IgM or an IgG, or something else?
If it was an IgG, see if you can find out the specific kind - Immunoblot, ELISA, etc.
Did you have any other sexual encounters in the few months prior to the one in November?
Hi, just getting a handjob with no naked genital rubbing and grinding would not pose any risk for contacting hsv.
If you tested 4 days and had a value of 2.5 it most likely is hsv1 oral that you contracted at childhood.
