i went to doctor on monday , the tiny pimples almost disappeared, he checked on it and he said that this is not typical symptoms or pimples for herpes or hpv, he also said that since it disappeared in 3 days only then it's very unlikely to be herpes or hpv or any STD. he insisted that i don't need any test right now and he said that herpes test usually have false positive and not very trustable.
he just told me that i might got follicle blockage due to olive oil or maybe some irritation or allergy to it.
now it's been almost 6 days no more pimples or itchy feeling on that area. but i see one tiny pimple remained and it's hard to see only under strong light.
ever since i got urethritis i'm always in a worry.,
1-do i need to go to another doctor???, this doctor seems like he is not taking this seriously,
2-i read that some people might have mild symptoms of herpes/hpv for months or years and could appear later, i'm thinking maybe these pimples are just mild and maybe later it will be more serious, could that be my case?
Additional question
3-i also have some urethral pain when i touch it deeply or press on it, sometimes it gets kind of hot like there is some inflammation, although i don't have no burning pain during urination, just when i press on it or when i'm so tired i feel some tingling pain that comes and goes... is that common after urethritis, is this because the NGU is not well cleared out and the bacteria or virus is still there? is there way to treat it???
your symptoms don't sound at all like genital herpes going on. odds are they aren't even warts either.
go and be seen monday and follow up on this .
dear castello i didn't get ur point exactly, i'm a male and i'm see some tiny spots and pimples that are not blisters instead they are like solid under the tip of my penis at the lower side. it appeared after masturbation with olive oil, i have history of unprotected oral sex with a girl with coldsore outside her lip 3 months ago
i don't have oral HSV-1 but i think that this thing that i'm having is herpes
1-can you explain to me what u mean if i test positive for HSV-1 then cannot be transmitted and if negative i should use condom?
i didn't get your point can you please explain to me more
thank you
HPV is possible to get from oral sex, but it's extremely unlikely, so it shouldn't be a concern.
As Grace pointed out, you really should get tested for both HSV-1 and HSV-2 to know your status. If your positive for oral HSV-1 then you are extremely unlikely to contract HSV-1 genitally, but if you're negative for HSV-1 then you should really consider using a condom during oral sex to prevent transmission. It's really best to know what your status is as well as any future partners for both types of HSV.
i will see if they have that, hopefully they do.
i'm starting to worry if this could be HPV, is it possible to get hpv from unprotected oral ????
you don't want herpes igm testing done. you only want igg blood testing done for herpes and make sure that it's type specific igg testing.
follow up with your provider as needed for your symptoms to try to get to the bottom of it all.
thanks grace for ur response.
i never did the test because they don't have IgM testing here.
it's tiny bumps, no lesion, doesn't seem fluid filled as blisters , i don't know what to call them. colorless i.e same color as penis
no clear redness
i have some symptoms of pharyngitis, and lymph node enlargement around my larynx on my throat could that be a sign that it's herpes?
have you ever had herpes igg blood testing done before?
could you be allergic to olive oil? you could be. it's really not meant to be used in the genital area for a lubricant.
grace
3- could it be allergy to olive oil??
4- what are the symptoms of hsv? and how does the blisters look like
