Can having sex that can be rough on your vaginal tissue cause one to have herpes outbreak?
I have a pretty uninhibited sex life which includes some rough and ready sex and never got an OB from all that activity. I know that too much sun seems to cause cold sores on my lips. OB's for me usually occur if I am run down from a cold or am really stressed. The last few years, even those things haven't brought on an OB.
actually, I've read (on this forum as well) that sex, especially rough sex, can indeed trigger an outbreak.... it's certainly happened to me before!
