paper cut like rash

Hi, i get paper cut like rashes on my inner thigh, lower leg and sometimes on arms. The rashes are like very thin straight line slit  cuts either horizontal or vertical  . It also burns in water. burning stops after crusting. There is no blister .  Could it be because of herpes?   It had happened with me quite a few times. Please advise.

no, these have nothing to do with herpes either.

be seen by a dermatologist and start a complete work up to find out what is going on.

i know i have cold sore (hsv1) . And i get ob's sometimes. I  want to check if the  straight very thin slits (like nerve)  on  legs/hands  is associated with herpes.  These cuts first looks as if cut by a sharp blade .   It burns in begining  and then heals after crusting. What could be the other possible cause of it.  Any tests which i should take ?
