quadriplegic/herpes

Should a quadriplegic chance being intimate with someone with herpes? And how safe is "safe" with protected sex when herpes are in the mix?

bed sores are different from herpes lesions. Herpes lesions will not lead to bed sores.

you can get the risk of herpes transmission down to 1% for males or 2-3% for females if you are taking full precautions. Herpes would be the least of the worries in a relationship where one partner is  paralyzed.

But if contact leads to contracting, sores could turn to bed sores? Bed sores could lead to death...

Absolutely! Why not?  Safe sex can be very safe with herpes, especially when that person avoids sexual contact when symptoms are present. Throw in condoms and supressive medication and you have a higher risk of getting her pregnant on birth control than you do of contracting herpes. Someone can throw the percentages out there as I'm not exactly sure what they are. This next person might just be the one, no reason that some pesky virus should get in the way of that!
