red and slightly swollen urethra opening - male

I am a sexually active straight adult male.  I have not had unprotected sex since my last STD tests a few months ago. Actually, I did receive unprotected oral sex a few weeks ago.  Yesterday, I noticed inflammation and redness of my meatus, and a miniscule white spot, looks like a pimple, inside the urethra (need to slightly pull the opening apart to see it).  There is no burning when I pee but I do feel a tingling sensation on the tip.  Not sure if I'm just overly sensitive since it's inflamed or because I'm anxious.  Could this be a symptom of genital herpes>  Any info would be appreciated!

sounds like something I have.  I went to the clinic to get tested and the test came back negative.  I ended up in a lot of pain because of the antibiotic they gave me but they did a urinalysis and that came back negative too.  I would assume you're just overly sensitive and stressing yourself out about it.

I was worried I may have had herpes however just like you I've only had protected sex since my last std test.  it sounds like you're ok but if you're worried it never hurts to get checked out.
