I just got my labs back and it says i am positive for herpes 2 with a 2.0 range...i had a full pap a g
few months ago and everything was fine...i called my GYN and he said a blood test is not a good test to do to diagnose herpes .is this a high range? Could it be a false positive,i never had any symptoms or out breaks

your hsv2 igg is a low positive and will need confirmed with additional testing.
