shingles and bruising

S48
I have had a second round of shingles. Both times I exhibited a bruise on my abdomen. I had very little pain. Valtrex was prescribed both times.

I've just finished the Valtrex. I noticed last night that the bruise has reappeared in exactly the same spot as the second outbreak.

What is going on? Thank you for any information.

I have been battling shingles since 2004. The blue spots could be your lymph nodes. Blue spots traveled down my left leg to my toes and i could feel them. It was the virus going down the dermatone. Read about another woman that is still fighting shingles.

How were you diagnosed as having shingles? Shingles very rarely reoccurs.  I'd be questioning the diagnosis of shingles at this point if I were you.
