spreading hsv1??

I currently have a coldsore outbreak and it is the second time one has appeared but as soon as the other one went away this one appeared. I accidentally got saliva on my chest as I was talking earlier today and I'm worried the saliva may transmit the cold sores. is it possible that the saliva could spread the cold sores?

No, you won't spread it around yourself through saliva. In fact it's rare it spreads at all but saliva is a very inefficient way of spreading hsv. Saliva helps break it down and hsv is not concentrated in bodily fluids
