HSV 2 false positive chance on an igg test, and should i take a WB?

Ok, so here's the deal a couple years ago i had all OB symptoms blisters, flu like, and swollen lymph nodes. I got checked and HSV 2 # was 2.26, and the nurse told me i was clean when my results came in. So fast forward a year and i go to my annual and the doctor asks about how my HSV2 infection has been going. Well, this took me by surprise, i had been in a relationship for a year and my gf had never had any symptoms. I requested another panel and the results for HSV2 came back as negative, all the way down from 2.26. Fast forward to the present, back in July i had my annual and the doctor told me my HSV2 igg # was elevated at 1.0 and should be retested in a few months. I just got my test results back after 3.5 months between test and it jumped to 1.22. My HSV1 numbers have stayed steady around 10, but with this # rising is that a positive test even though the # is on the low end and didnt rise that much. Also, the test a couple years ago that was twice as high and then went negative is messing with my mind, i dont know what to think about my situation. Ive seen test on forums that fluctuate a few decimal points and am thinking i should take a wb just to be certain. Please help, ive had no symptoms since a couple years ago and am going through all the same angst as everyone about this.

At this point i would seek out the western blot test. This is the only real way to know for sure
