what can treat herpes outbreaks?

I got genital herpes last years. At that time, I treated with acyclovir. Sores on the scrotum were gone away within  5 days. After 4 months, another outbreak returned but acyclovir didn't help me anymore, I apllied oregano oil and it worked well. Unluckily, the oil doesn't work for me in this time. I'm so stress because there's no product can help me on the second time. What should i do now?

we had unprotected oral sex. Before performing the sexual act, she had some first symptoms of oral herpes, but she didn't told me. And now, I'm miserable to treat herpes. You have genital herpes, too?????
I asked people on other forums, they showed me lots of ways to treat herpes. Some people used acyclovir, valtrex, or prosurx  while others applied home remedies such as oregano oil, or tea tree oil with water. I'm really hesitant to choose the best one
i used to have allergies to valtrex, but my doctor recommended prosurx to me and it helped me more. I can't be sure it works well for you, but you can consider it
thanks for your reply, I'm hesitant between them, I'll carefully consider  it before using.
I had a protected encounter and four days later I am having itching, tingling, crawling non stop for the last 10 weeks. I am scared of contracting herpes from this exposure. My tests were negative but my symptoms shows I contracted something.
Where were your first symptoms when you got gential herpes? Did you have itching, burning when you urinated, small little red dots on your foreskin, bloated, felt like going to pee but nothing came out, irritation on the tip of your penis? Did you have discharge?
How long did the symptoms last? 6 weeks  less or more?
Did you wait 6 months to get tested?
