I am beside myself cause i do not know if i have a strange  nuerosis or I have contracted  HSV II, I slept with my ex..formerly my wife.. she had surgery for a hysterectomy, and had assured me that she   had not  had sex with another individual in the last 2 years, she was along term partner and last time i tested  I was negative, she was having  the surgery because of  pre cancerous cells that was found.. in any case  she was on alot of medications and antibiotics, we slept together near the end of  september and I developed  bumps all over the  head of my penis which then turned into a purplish  swelling that had  whitish  fluid underneath it.. it did not hurt, and  the bump did not craters.. when it looked like it was a scab I removed it and  it closed up. I saw my doctor who is experienced in STD/HIV stated that it did not  look like herpes and  said that it was  balantis more looking like a fungal or yeast, he then  perscribed fungal and yeast medicine. my mother who is a nurse said the same thing and suggested that i combine the medications in order for it to  work that that it would  take up  to six weeks . I then  would have1-3  itchy bumps that  did not have any fluid on my shaft and when i used the  medication it went away.. I did not have a discharge but i felt  burning like sensations on my legs, did not have a fever  but  felt a hotflash on the back on my neck .i would  get little bumps on my butt they would be itchy but not puss filled or would not be close to each other.butt and lower back.  I would scratch until they would scab and it would heal.. I then developed a bump on my scrotum that was itchy and iwoud scratch and then  a red fluid would  come out,, it owuld be one bumb then have  2 or three small ones around it  and then it would  scab and heal in 24 hrs.. then i got a bump on the other side of my scrotum and that one started to have smalled bumps in different sizes and i would put the medication on it but it would calm down  I then  had itching  at night  that was almost unbearable and  then my other friend who was a nurse reasoned that it might be scabies and  gave me  permethrin that worked and being at the fact that  i did not have anymore bumps on my penis and that it seemed to work then I felt better and i was  getting to a better place mentally,  then I went over  to my ex's house and slept on the extra bed and  I began to itch all over again and this time   my hands , arms, chest, stomach and  forearms kind of did the same thing that  my scrotum was doing.. I treated myself again but the bumps have not disappeared and i am still itchy.. I then got a tingle on the head of my penis that comes and goes... and i keep checking to see if anything develops and it has not, then my scrotum still had the  bumps there..and  yester day one of them itched and i scratched it and it opened .. i put  the fungal medication on it  and anti biotic ointment and it  closed up and shrank... and now my nose feels  flu like...but i have no fever and  i am having a hard  time eating or sleeping, and i am worried that my girl might have  contracted from me cause she is  complaining  that her back hurts all the time and that her arms are sore and that  she felt achy.. but she does not have a yeast infection or any signs of an outbreak.. I am having a hard time and my anxiety is at a all time high, i am going to the  free clinic tomorrow.. and even though the bumps i had looked nothing  like HSV , I am still worried and feeling  sick.. I mena what  bumps  stay on your genitals  for  close to 2 months? how can it  put out  redish fluid.. my is my penis  tingling.. am i overly  genitally focused , I am worried,

I now believe i have it as  I have  two small areas  on my testicles that  are open and putting out  clear fluid.. I have noticed that  I have  had  headaches twice that  has cause me to not see clearly for  2 hours and  my nose tingles like it is  hot. I have also  had  my  4th finger swell up and  put out clear  fluid..
I have not had  it spread  to the other parts of my genitalia  but  it has itched  everyday  for more than a month.. I think that i am re infected with  scabies that is  exacerbating it, even though i went to the clinic and they said folliculitus.. my genitals  burn and  itch... my eye felt like I was getting red eye and i did an eye wash and  and then came back to normal. I also had a 2 bumps on the crack of my butt that  also put out clear fluid,.. what is bothering me is that i have not had  sex in almost two months or any activity. and  if i masturbate.. it hurts when I ejaculate sometimes.. my girl  had been complaining of  being  tired, and  a night where here  arm felt tingles and she just told me this morning ( i am away) that  her eye  feels like she is getting  red eye and that her lip is slightly swollen.. does this mean i have given it to her.. she has  had  not genital issues and  has not felt any tingling burning or heat in her pelvic area.. she most complains of  being  tired... these sound like the  begining symptoms.. my ex  once again refuses to  provide me  with her results and spent a day at the doctor and said that she is free from any infections or STI's , i asked her what  tests she took and she  tried to turn the tables on me  and argue what  she thought that i was doing.. I believe that she is lying.. and if i have contracted this  it is  definitely her as I  scared but no issues like this until my incidence with her..my  other tests have  come back  negative and  what ever they gave me in shots and  p ills have stopped the tingling in the head of my penis.. I know  that  you can get a secondary infection from HSV can you  have a nose podrome that  predicts your outbreaks? can a watery  eye that  feels like pink eye be one?

also  if you  had  nodule on your  testicles  and you  got   A shot  of  azothromycin and  it shrank what do you think that it was related to?

i am  thinking i have it  because i had two bumps pop up on my cheek near  my tailbone.. and  there are  two bumps not together or  multiple and one looks bigger than the other .. i had a pinching in my hi[ps nothing to bad.. but i am  still itchy on my  genitalia... nothing  has appeared  since but then again i am thinking that  it might have moved around... I have been getting a scratchy  feeling in my nose  like my sinuses are stuffed and last week i had a problem seeing with a really bad headache.. i also had my finger swell up and  when i grabbed a hot cloth .. it busted and  put out  clear fluid.. it hurt  for 2 days and i kept it wrapped up.. my ex said  she was  gettng her  results on tuesday but would not disclose  what tests she took and  told me tht my problems are my own problems.... I am still waing to get to the clinic for my results  but  I  have a HIGH DEGREE  of ANXIETY... my girl tells me tht there is nothing wrong with her  but  i am still  a little off

If you haven't had sex with your girl (including oral sex) in 30 days, the white blisters near her throat were not due to herpes. Blisters inside the throat usually occur only during the first infection.

Hey need2no, are you getting the blood test tomorrow?  How long has it been since exposure?  Herpes wouldn't show up inside her mouth.  Don't worry about that.  Don't worry about your pains either.  Just get the test and lets see.

i could not  make it to my appointment today.. cause it seemed like everything in the world stopped me, i am not  having  itching   where the  two nodules were  but nothing  popped up and nothing burning.. just itchy.. but it  feels funny when i sit a certain way.. i feel  pressure on the head of my penis  but no  tingling like before.. my nose is semi stuffed but my  girl has  developed  whitish looking things in her mouth by her throat but says that she is not experiencing  nothing  in her nether regions, she said she  feels achey and she had a nose bleed.. I am hoping it i can make it tomorrow.. I also noticed that  i still get a pinch in both hips from time to time.. nothing major  but i feel it... i am watching her and  waiting to see what  happens  when she goes to her  doctor's appointment on thursday... i thought she might have cold sores in her mouth cause it was  white when i checked last night but today it is  her regular color in her mouth and  does not look like it did  yesterday

i just had a small bump on my right  ring finger  near the tip.. iwas  handing a it did not  make a bump but it was  feeling  sore and swollen very little but nothing   big.. i had  pulled a hang nail but i handled a hot towel and it seems to  bust .. with clear fluid... i almost  lost my mind .. and i am wondering if it is  witlow which i hear can happen if you  have been exposed to HSV i have  have swollen fingers before but  that is during  bacterial related events.. i wash my hands all the time... i am going to go tomorrow to see if i can get it  swabbed as well..

wow, i guess i am not the only person in the situation.. i feel like i am on a watch.. i am watching  my girl friend so closely and  every pain she  gets  worries me , she was complaining of feeling achy and that set me off into a new episode... I still have  itching but that could be due to the scabies that are  dead or  dying , i felt something  on my but cheek but  my  girl said itwas a small bump no fluid...every little thing  bothers  me, and it is hard on me..and i feel crazy cause  i feel like i have to stay away from everyone and any itch, pinch or feeling  makes my mental state go crazy...I ma doing better than before  but   the fight with myself is crazy

Follow catinbarefeets advice need2no.  I understand the confusion and worrying.  Sorry if I sounded blunt on the testing, we can only do so much on here and we can't diagnose you until you get the proper testing.  If it makes you feel better I too am waiting for results and I too have been having what I think are symptoms.  By the end of next week I will be at the 12 week mark.  It has been taking forever and I kept counting wrong thinking I was almost there when really I had a bit longer to go. I have been having the random stinging pains in the growing and stinging pains in the buttocks.  I too have been having prickly feelings in these locations as well.  I too have been having burning sensations in the urethra and growing as well.  I also had a little tiny red bump or sore appear on my scrotum about a week or 2 ago and it felt hot and stung.  This all worries me too, trust me, It's the most I have ever stressed in my life. But keep calm the best you can, ignore these possible symptoms and get the testing.  If negative, I assure you these symptoms will subside and most likely go away my friend.  Keep us posted on the outcome, and I wish you the best

Confirm this for us: did you or did you not get an IgG from the doctor you saw? If you did, please relax and wait for the result. Also, if you get a fresh bump, have it swabbed immediately, to put your mind at rest.

So far everything you have described points to the probability that you do not have HSV. You can stop worrying until there's a reason to worry!

Your doctor can order the BioKit for you. I do not think you can get it by yourself - beware of internet sites that sell testing kits. You don't know what you're getting. Go through your doctor. Here is ASHA's testing guide:

the thing was  i had a tingling in the head of my penis and it  itched and there were no  fluid filled bumps that proceeded  it... I had a burning feeling before.. but the head and where  it was was not painful.. no discharge or swollen lymph nodes but that was the first time that  i got that. all i know is that it itched and that  i put the scabies cream on it and it  burned... in all it still itches but  after i got the  mass infusion of the  anti biotics and pills.. this is the first time that i am seeing the bumps go down.. i have not  taken  valtrex but i am also not having the stabbing pains in my crotch. though i am get  slight pains in my hips.. and i woke up with a headache today.. but it all worries me..

I am glad you took the advice and ate a nice meal. : )  Herpes prodrome symptoms would be a tingling down below, itchiness, or stinging.  If this was occurring you would have an outbreak within the next 30 minutes to 2 days.  If you do not have an outbreak, then it is not related.  This feeling is caused by the virus making its way to the skin.  Anxiety can cause itching or tingling.  If you did take Valtrex you would probably be setting yourself up for a placebo effect.  Placebo effect means you take something that is supposed to heal your symptoms but really it does nothing for you.  It was just your mind thinking you are cured.  You should really get a blood test and put this behind you.  Go to stdtestexpress.com  and click Find A Lab.  You can get a herpes igG test from these labs.  There should be one by you, they are across the united states.  Does this help?  Don't take the Valtrex.  If you do it will complicate things, not get accurate results, and drag this situation on longer.  My advice is get the test if you do not believe your ex's status and are worried you are infected.   Please tell us how the test went.

can you get pain in both  hips and still itch after treatment? like i am  almost curious to try  some valtrex to see it it would  stop the pinp pong in  my hips, and i get  a nose podrome  and i am wondering  why i am still itching  but i also know that since i got the  shot  the bumps have been shrinking  alot but they still itch what is that?

I want to know  if you have a podrome does it  happen where you are getting the feeling at? and  if you have a lesion is it supposed to  crust and  does it combine into one lesion and slowly healy by shrinking the skin together  like  primary healing and how long does that take.. the other thing is if you  take Azthromycin and  some other  anti biotics... and you don't have the pains any more..what is that.. I still have a crawling feeling  on the  bottom of my testicles..and a slight pain in my hip...

the inital event  yes.. but  I got different confirmations from my doctor, and  my mom and cousin  who are  nurses, I was  worried about it.. still and  i am still quaking in my boots.. although they  did  give my  Azithromycin and something else that was very strong.. (some type of anti biotic.. I have  diarreha) and gave me  more  permehtrin  cream.. and since the  doctore appointment I have not had the same phantom pains I had been having before  but i  still have itching  but the lesion that  i thought were cratering   was not and  my doctor asked me if I had  bumps and i took pictures and showed her that  i did not  and that i might have  a secondary infection..plus they noted that  i did not have any discharge, it was not  beyond the area  that they  were examining .. there was no pain when they cultured it, and they said tht  the presenttation was atypical and that  I told that that i had scratched  before and  cause my self a scab but this one was  not closing up.. and they said um no that is not it.. they also put me under some lamp, and  she went and got her attending physician who stated that  it would be in more pain and that it would be more  widespread.. but  i was still worried cause  i told them that  i had  hot flashes and that i had a bad nuerosis about  the situation .. i am still sitting  tight but i want to  find a BIO KIT  HSV -II  and even though they are telling me that it was not a crater and that it should be more painful i am holding on... I want my future wife to be ok and  I want to make sure that  we can  do this  with no impediments... and my ex wife is swearing that her  results are  negative/non reactive.. she  has not shown me any values and she said that  she is in the clear for scabies but  i told her that at that time i slept with no one else and i know  my girlfriends history intimately because  we  just had a baby..and i was there for her tests and  i have her medicial records  in our file at home. also  i have been monitoring her closely and she said if there was anything wrong with her , I would be the first to  know and she is gettng  tested at her  dr.'s appointment next week ..i am far from where i need to be  but i learned a valuable lesson.. i need to know where i can  get a  bio kit.. i  am still shaken.. but  a sscabies  diagnosis does  enlighten me to some things that i had going on.. and  i ate steak today raddly.. but i am not there  just yet...

Hello need2no70, Thanks for updating.  It is good to hear that what you thought was herpes may indeed be nothing concerning.  If 2 doctors looked at it and said it did not resemble herpes then you should take this as a very good sign.  Very smart on taking photos.  That must have helped out a lot.  Sorry she blamed you.  Clean up, disinfect your self, buy yourself a nice meal, and treat yourself to a movie. I went to the clinc today and they  cultured it but i have  blood tests that I have to come back for the results in a week, i was looked at  by  two doctors who examines it and told me that it was not a ulcer or ulcerated  like that i  thought , i also showed them pictures of  every stage of it.. and they  said they did not think it was herpes and that  they will confirm with  IGG test... iam still having  itching  but they confirmed that I have  scabies and  i called my ex.. and she actually  blamed me!!! i am in th process of  cleaning and disinfecting everything  ..it is unbelievable

this is newer and first thought  maybe it could be cause i scratched but now ... it seems as if it was a this smaller but it seems as if they are  moving together to form on big lesion...it has not spread and it still has yet to form a scab and there is no black mark in it... but now i feel like that there is  a tingle
on the head of my penis...and that  my head is  becoming  tight..how ever it  the lesionstill have not moved  and the bump next to it is still there...I still feel sick and  hae a hard time  thinking it to be anything else.. and it is  past the  48 hr mark so  i do not know what a  swab would do now...

Let me add, it is hard to diagnose over internet or over phone.  Having someone that is familiar with herpes look at it is the best route.  We can only do so much on here.  Please have it looked at.  I wish you the best, and please keep us posted.

You said you had your doctor look at it, and also your mother, and a nurse.  They all said it did not seem like herpes.  Are these newer bumps?  It would be a good time to either show them these again, or go to a planned parent hood and have this looked at for another opinion.  They could swab it for you. Or, go see your doctor and get this swabbed in the first 48 hours.
