So after a little rough sex about a week ago..hurts to walk,sit,pee I am now having bumps about 5 total around my genital area. All of the bumps dont even look the same some are larger some smaller..they are all painful though. Anyways is it possible to get herpes and then react to it the same day you get it? also i just had a baby a month ago..the sex was rough..and it was with a condom brand that i've never used before. Plus all men in question say they've been tested and they are clear. I'm pretty much confused.

could be that it's clearing up. could be that you have vaginitis or something going on.  could be the first ob still running its course.  

if you aren't sure what is going on, return to be seen monday for an exam.

I just had one question because this is my first breakout..all of my bumps are gone inside of my vagina and out it dosent hurt anymore..but i still have red marks where some of the larger bumps were and also i am occasionally feeling tingling and itching. Does this mean my breakout is still clearing up? or am i about to breakout again? thank you for anwsering my questions :)

if your current blood test is negative and so is your lesion culture, repeat the blood test in 3 months or should you get a return of symptoms, be seen promptly for a repeat lesion culture and typing of them.

you won't transmit this from your hands. Just wash your hands normally like you would after using the bathroom or touching yourself intimately. that's really all it takes.

just wanted to say that i was tested for all other vaginal stds and hiv and they were all negative. I am just waiting for my herpes test results..I had blood drawn and heard the doc say igg and she scraped my scabs as best as she could for a swab test. I had two doctors look at me and they said it looked like herpes almost forsure..i even had bumps on my cervix :(  happy to say that i am almost all healed and am now taking the meds perscribed 4 times a day..i am also washing my hands like a mad man lol because i have three kids and would die if anything was spread to them. but i still wanna hear my results.

i am going to my six week check up tomorrow morning and i cant wait to be seen! anyways one of the men the newest one he was tested for herpes due to a pregnancy with another girl and he does not have it. And the other man in question actually gave me climidia while i was pregnant and we were both treated for it in march..he says he and his current gf got tested for everything when he went to make sure the climidia was gone. so either one of these boys is lieing and i'm just that unlucky or theres something else going on. And btw the pain is going away a little bit already..but my bumps are still there which is good in a way so the docs can see and test them.

you need to go and be seen today and get this looked at. could be many things going on but the sooner you get seen and tested, the more accurate your testing is.

odds are neither you nor your partners have ever been tested for herpes. it's not a part of routine std testing in most clinics.
