Pekingese frequent ear infections

I have a male Pekingese, about 10 years old (don't know exact age, was a rescue dog).
He has frequent ear infection that don't heal 100 % (thats what I feel is goning on) because by the time
he goes back to the groomer he has another ear infection, Also he itches on his stomache a lot. I wonder if he has allergies or something intestenal? Changing his dog food does not work, because he only eats one kind, and will not eat others (he is on Pedigree Chicken,Rice and Vegetables). Table food makes him sick and he throws up (a lot) if you give him more than a bite. He loves to eat people food, but it just does not agree with his stomache. Any suggestion from anybody???
