Azodyl is safe with everything that your cat is currently taking. It is a probiotic and prebiotic supplement with beet fiber.
Discuss switching to an all canned or homemade high quality protein diet with your veterinarian. High protein wet or canned food is no longer considered the enemy for feline kidney disease, and is currently advocated in many cases.
Consider adding additional cranberry extract as a single supplement because mixed products usually do not have enough, and vitamin C at 100 mg three times daily to help counter your concern about the Methionine.
Yes, totally safe.
Please let me know if I can help for again!
sorry to bother you but my main concern was--is it okay to take azodyl along with uti-free and kidney support supplements (both from the same company)---the kidney support is suppose to help balance the ph in the urine so do i need uti-free as a maintenance product--i've ordered both but haven't received them in the mail yet--my bet said it's okay to take these products but they may not work--i'm just trying to gather all the info i can before i start administering these products to my cat--even though these products are suppose to not have any side effects--please advise--
thanks,
barbara
