I am also from Oz and used to be in professional  T.B horse racing.for many years with a lot of success.         What type of racing is this this that he/she races 4 times a week please explain.
Because if you raced 4 times a week you would not have a horse.Once a week continuously yes it would affect his health.
Safe to race once a fortnight for about 6 to 8 starts  if trained and fed correctly, then a break in paddock for one to three months.

Anyway I would like to know why you ask this strange question ????
