Can I spread hpv without warts present?

Hi, I just found out I have hpv can anyone tell me if I can spread it even if there is no warts at all?

My wart doctor yesterday told me the following...(specifically relating to the wart type) If they do not return in 3-6 months, they will be cleared and non contagious. He was absolutely sure of that. They can return, but if they do, you are part of the unlucky 10% who has an impaired immune system

After all the research I have done, I am skeptical of this. He was however very sure and said he had been treating / studying infectious diseases for 30 years.

Yes. The high risk for cancer strains can be spread and these strains do not produce warts. Also, about 50% of the people who have HPV do not get any warts. Finally people who do get warts removed can become infectious again one day (could be 10-20 years later or never).
