Cimetidine hpv inhibitor?

Has anyone heard of this? Apparently it is prescription only. The following page states it is an "inhibitor of Human Papilloma Virus."

The methyl jasmonate is expensive and the psychologist "Dr. Steve" on the website I listed was offering about 9 months ago to buy enough to distribute to anyone interested because you get a discount if you buy something like $2K worth of the stuff.  I'm not going to try that without a little more info on it.  The I3C is recommended at 400mg/day so that's what I'm taking.  6Kmg of Vit C won't hurt you and if you are in need of it you'll use it.  Yes, your body throws off whatever you don't need.  It is only the fat soluble vitamins you have to be careful about.  The turmeric is best mixed with a tsp of olive oil and a sprinkle of black pepper.  You can just swallow it or you can put it on a salad, whatever works for you.  The research shows though that just chugging turmeric isn't as effective as a turmeric mixed with black pepper and oil.  I'm taking the Valacore as well as a new one called ViralFree.  Both have turmeric in them as well as some other antiviral and immunity strengthening supplements.  I don't know if they work on hpv but I'm the only one at my house who isn't sick right now with an upper respiratory bug that seems to have the others laying in bed gasping.  Good luck to all of us who seek our own answers while the medical community is trying to figure this out with something they can market to us in a pill.

Yes!!! Almost 12 days no smoking! I'm really excited! Although, I won't lie, I really do want a cigarette lol but it's nothing I can't handle :)

Yeah kindof blew me away when I read about Cimetidine. To the best of my knowledge, there was nothing you could take for hpv. Let me know what your doc says :) Pretty interesting.

I too am taking the I3C. They are 25 mgs and the bottle says to take once a day? I wonder if it would be safe for me to take more than this? What do you think? I also bought some turmeric/curcumin 900 mgs daily.

Although I was a little thrown off by how it states 6000 mgs Vitamin C a day. I was under the impression your body can only use so much and you will lose the rest in your urine.

Vick's inhaler very interesting! I actually have one of these by Revlon. But where do you get the Methyl Jasmonate?

Here is another substance.  This one is inhaled so that it enters the blood through the lungs.  http://www.healthsalon.org/382/methyl-jasmonate-for-cancer-treatment/
Let me know what you think about it.  Methyl jasmonate does hold up in the journal articles as a treatment.  I don't know about the inhaler method of getting it.  Thoughts??

Apparently, cimetidine is an antiulcer drug.  It has been used to help control HIV.  I found only one journal article that discussed cimetidine and hpv.  It reported an incident involving a 16 year old boy who had lesions on his face and body which tested positive for hpv 5.  The boy had had these lesions for 8 years.  He was given a course of 3 months on cimetidine after which he was markedlly improved and, further, had no relapse after 6 months of no further treatment. So, it is effective against at least one strain of hpv (not one of the sexually transmitted strains) and that holds out hope that it is a potential treatment for other strains of hpv.  The recommended therapeutic dose was 40mg/kg of body weight.  I will ask my researcher doc about this when I get the rest of my results.  Thanks for mentioning this.  I wish I had found more information on it.  There may be more research involving it and I'm just not finding it.  I wish there was a resource with all the answers!!!!!!  Congratulations on reaching the one week anniversary of no smoking!  If you hear of anything else we might want to look into please let me know.  Take care.  .

Wow!  How interesting!  What I found so amazing was that this source actually gave suggested amounts of each nutrient.  I have recently started the Indole-3-Carbinol at 400 mg/day because of other reading.  I'm going to look at this more closely and also run that cimetidine item through that Science Direct academic research engine to see what papers I can find.  I'll get back to you!  THANKS FOR THE INFO!!!
