Clearing Genital warts "HPV"

This subject has made me extremly depressed, and almost suicidal in dealing with my new problem genital warts. I have read on some sites that once you have HPV that causes genital warts that the virus will always stay in your body and can be transmitted to other people. Yet on some other sites it says the body is able to clear the virus. I am confused as to what actually is happening here. I have recently contracted genital warts and id like to know if I will be spreading to others if I have sex with them. Id like to think I will clear the virus, but get depressed when I see that the virus will never leave my body now and can infect others, but on sites like CDC it says 90% of people clear the virus. Im so confused as to what clear means. Does it mean the immune system is able to kill it completly or What? Or if the immune system weakens it is able to come back? I am taking measures to get rid of these as soon as possible. Planned parenthood put some strong acid on my first warts that burned them off quite good, but another one sprouted up. Has anyone from this site had luck with using the apple cider vinegar treatment in getting rid of warts. Also what else to boost the immune system to rid the body of the virus. I have heard garlic is a good virus killer. Any suggestions ?

Dude, I will say this. HPV is apart of sex rather you know it or not. I live in China and it's so relative here it is said that 98% of all sexually active person has this disease. It is treated like the common cold then move on. Remember one thing, the word disease is associated with the word virus. The common cold is a disease. No it will never leave your body, your body can fight it and remove it from the skin but it will always remain with you

I feel you 100%.I too eperienced HPV in 2008 and I had a wart and I used aldara to remove the wart and since then all my paps have been normal and I have not had a wart or any bumps of the sort. I also go regulary for my paps and check up so I hope this will encourage
you to stay strong and positive in knowing that your body can fight this virus!  Also Aldara is 100% effective in wart removal

The fact is that we don't know enough about HPV when it "Clears" it could be gone for good, eliminated from your body like a flu virus is. OR it could be like Chicken Pox, where once it's gone it's gone but it lives in your spinal column. The fact is we don't know.

The good news, There is NO PROOF it is still inside your body. That is only a theory, though a very good one. What is known that in 90% of cases that there are no traces of it, so even in the body hasn't eliminated it is at undetectable levels.

I recently read something from a woman who works with HIV patients, some doctors say that when your immune system is knocked out, (such as with hiv) that hpv will come back. She said that she doesn't see hpv much unless it's a new case that the person didn't know about/ have before. So I am taking that as a good sign that once it's gone it's really gone, but then again we don't know.

Just have faith, hopefully in a couple years we will know more. No matter what, once it's clear you shouldn't have to worry about spreading it, just put it behind you in your sexual past.

The CDC is right. When looking for information on the internet, it is important identify trustworthy sites with accurate, up to date information. The CDC certainly qualifies.

You need to come to grips with your HPV diagnosis. Nearly everybody who is sexually active will get at least one HPV infection. It should be considered a normal part of your sex life.

The definition of cleared varies between medical professionals. Some believe that that the virus is never totally eradicated, but they recognize that levels of virus are too low to show up on our very sensitive tests and are unlikely to be passed to future partners once "cleared".

Apple cider vinegar isn't an effective treatment.
