Did I just ruin a man's life?

I just found out that I have HPV 16. I had a sexual encounter with a man before I found this out.
I performed oral sex on him for quite a while (30-45 minutes). I don't have any sores/warts/cuts in my mouth but does that even matter? Did I just ruin that mans life?

Don't worry! You cannot give him infected with HPV unless you have a sore, cut or wart. But, you should see your doctor to deal with your problem. HPV 16 is a high-risk HPV type that can cause 70% of cervical cancers. Keep your regular check-up, eat healthy, avoid bad habits and practice safe sex.
Good luck!
