Frustrated because of HPV

Recently I had unprotected sex with a girl and went to my doctor because i had bumps on my penis head and groin pain.  For 3 months he told me i had nothing and thought it was a prostate infection.  So he put me on antibiotics to make it go away.  Which must be because my body was fighting the virus. Well finally after months of pain and anxiety my instint was right.  The girl told me she had hpv.  So now i know i must have it.  Well now i am extremely upset and am wondering how to treat this virus.  I still have tiny bumps on my penis.  they very very tiny that seemed to have not gone away for 3 months now.  Will there be a time when my body can fight off this virus and whats the best way to do it.  I dont want gential warts appearing all thoughtout my life.  I also dont want to infect any future partners especially a future wife!!! please help.  My doctor is out of town till next tuesday and i can't wait that long for some anwsers. The stress is killing me.

woman can have both internal and external!all both of u can do is to get them treated...the most reliable info on warts is here in the Experts Forum by Drs.Hook and Handsfield...browse the archives under topic HPV Genital Warts..and go to www.ashastd.org!Don't b-lieve all u read on the net about this..there is a lot of misinformation out there!

Yes I believe she has the warts but they are internal?  I cannot see any outside but the doctor told her they will freeze them off if they dont go away on their own.  I myself must have them because I have tiny bumps on my penis head.  I know i have it thats not my concern.  I am worried about how I can fight this.  If it will leave my body at some pt.  I come up with different anwsers through online searches  Some saying its always there some say it goes away in 2 years.
