HPV - URGENT HELP - infected mother to baby ???

Hello MEDHELP !

Still me, i follow up each hour my 2 posts but no comment from the community...i'm really worried and stressed and i really need your help..is it possible that Medhelp refer my questions to an Expert ?

I'm HPV infected, PAP normal dated Feb 26th 2013, condyloma treated within 1 week since medical diagnostic  ( feb 23rd 2013) ,  i dont know which strain of HPV, i will do the PCR test soonly.

My Gyneco made me trouble because she advised me to pay very attention to my kids, she told me that i can give the virus to my kids in taking care of them ( feeding, touching, using same towels..etc.. )

This is really nervous !!!! She gave me impression that i can spread the disease to all my family...

I don't dare to tell her what i tell you here, i'm afraid that she will judge badly ...

I have a baby 13 months and i take care of him everyday with closed contacts and that make me so nervous, i'm so afraid that i may give him the virus in his mouth

Before discovering by my self the genital warts since maybe 2 months  (but i didnt know that was condyloma i thought that was my scar from my delivery) i didnt pay so much attention ...

Before the diagnostic,I always  rinse my hands carefully before touching my kids but i usually tested the food ( hot or not )  in the same spoon before feeding my baby, i also drunk in his glass, i tested also the milk in his bottle..etc..in resume i do as every mothers do, my sister does the same with her kids, my mom also did the same way to her grandchildren....

The thing becomes serious with me and push me to join your  forum ( I've never join a forum before, any forum, i dont like to write down my private history, i just want to read forums ) because I had oral sex ( only one time since some months ) with my husband ( he has no warts until now ) since my delivery ( Jan 2012), i dont remember very exactly when but maybe before the warts ...but i may confuse...i think the lastest oral sex is dated around 3 months since we just have normal sex sometimes with condoms for contraception , sometimes without when i knew the "security period" ...

My husband and i , we don't have sex outside since 13 years from our marriage, and before marriage, we were virgin. We consider that we are 100% safe and we are confident to do some time oral sex because we love each other very much. Before my second baby, oral sex was also a way of contraception in my couple. But since i have my second baby, i dont do it again except one time when my husband told me he "missed my mouth" ( sorry, i dont know how to explain !!! )...and i thought he was very clean, no warts or anything else on his penis..etc..

At that time, i didnt see warts in my vulva and my husband did also fellation with me. But maybe the warts were invisble..etc..

My 3 biggest questions  are :

* Do i have a risk to transmit the virus to my baby's mouth with what i mentionned above ?

* Do i have a risk to get HPV in my own mouth with oral sex with my husband ?

* Does my husband have a risk to get HPV in his mouth with oral sex on me ?

I IGNORE TOTALLY WHY I GOT THIS VIRUS ON ME !!!

PLEASE HELP BECAUSE I AM REALLY ANXIOUS, NERVOUS...etc...

Dear Doctor,
Many thanks for your time to reply me.
I go better now because staying upset will not help anything
The small warts that i had in my vulva were gone after treatement.
My husband has no warts until now.

With differents documents that i read online recently, i hope that i can fight out the virus and also my husband.

I dont think i had warts when i gave birth to my baby more than one  year   ago. He is fine, i was just worried in using the same spoon with him but one answer from a nother expert of Medhelp has assured me that using ustensil is not a major risk as bedding, taking bath..etc..

By the way, i will follow up my case with Pap test in 3 months

Thanks for your help

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How are you? HPV is usually passed on through sexual contact such as genital contact, oral sex and genital-to-genital contact. There are cases when a pregnant woman with genital HPV can pass the HPV on to her baby during delivery. Another rare condition wherein warts can grow in the throat is recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP) which  can occur in children and adults  and can sometimes block the airway, causing a hoarse voice or trouble breathing. Hope this helps. It is best that you talk to your doctor about this for proper management. Take care and best regards.
