HPV, Abnormal "Paps" Post Hysterectomy???

I contracted HPV/Genital warts as a result of a sexual assault 5 years ago. Endured 4 acid treatments and then laser surgery to remove them. Until then, had never had an abnormal pap. Since then, every pap has been abnormal and have had numerous colposcopies that said "we need to watch this". I had an emergency hysterectomy last December - took cervix & uterus, left ovaries.

I thought that had put an end to the concerns about abnormal paps. Apparently not. I just had my first 'pap smear' in my 'vaginal cuff'. It came back abnormal as well. I haven't had any further appearances of warts, but I wonder - can I get cancer of the vagina and could I lose this now too?
