thank you, let me add one thing more here, she is a nurse and works in hospital with patients of gynecology and obstetrics OT. She frequently assists Cesarean sections and NVDs. Is it possible to catch this infection from such patients? without any sexual contact? I have read on NHS website and pubmed that a good number of virginal females also present with genital warts. thanks
Yes, its a skin disease. Gential to gential (or oral) skin rubbing passes it. Condoms provide 50% protection since it doesn't cover the base of the penis or thighs or buttocks, pubic area, etc. If she had no sex partners at all (and this includes fingering and oral), then you probably did infect her. At this point, she and you share the same strains and it doesn't matter who gave it to who. After your warts are gone for 3 months at least, you two can have all of the unsafe sex you want for the rest of your lives because you cannot re-infect each other.
