HPV and Colposcopys?

I got diagnosed with HPV, the high risk type. I wanted to know if it's necessary to keep getting colonoscopy's and how often? Or if a pap smear every 6 months will do.

Pap smear every 6-12 months is enough.

PAP smears are NOT enough. At a minimum, she needs repeat HPV testing, not just a PAP.

Standard recommendations (assuming her PAP was negative) are for repeated co-testing in 12 and 24 months, and if either of those are positive, then culposcopy.
