Hair Loss and HPV???

I was told that my Yearly PAP test came back with HPV readings and I am being watched for pre cancerous cervical problems.  I just got told by my hair dresser that I have patches of hair loss.  I have 4 in all.  My scalp is itchy and I noticed lately I am tired more than normal.  I also noticed my jewelry is turning on my fingers....What is happing to my body?  I am 43 and in extremely great shape...so I thought....any thoughts on HPV causing all this?

I have a whole host of symptoms that may point to HPV, although the docs can't find anything.  I have vaginal itching, hair loss, depression (no sore and no abnormal pap? hoarse voice, fatigue, depression, now bumps on my tongue.  Does this sound anything like what you are going through?

Yes,worse I have HPV16.
No other screening evidence of other conditions however no doctor able to associate all of these symptoms and changes since HPV found.
Clearly scientif proof missing and yet many people experiencing the same. Sad to feel alone

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi

Scalp itchiness, easy fatigability and weight loss are nonspecific signs and symptoms. When I say nonspecific, several factors may be causing these. I know you are worried about your PAP smear results, however at this point I would suggest that you have a complete physical examination by a medical internist. An abdominal examination and cardiac tests may be done to eliminate any possible cause of your symptoms.

Itchy scalp and hair loss may be due to a fungal infection or seborrheic dermatitis. You may need to obtain scrapings from the scalp for microscopic evaluation. This would ascertain the presence of a fungal infection.

Are you worrying a lot lately? Hormonal problems, stress and decreased immune response may trigger some changes in the body. Keep a close consult with your gynecologist for close monitoring as indicated by your pap smear results.

I'm very curious about this question.  My rings have turned on my fingers for years, I also experienced hair loss about 10 years ago, it eventually grew back.  I have just recently been told that I have HPV and that it could have lain dormant for 35 years, I'm beginning to see bald patches again.  I'm 57 years old, my primary said an infection, my pharmacist said shingles, and my dermatologist said stress.  I'm beginning to think it's autoimmune, but my Dr is so busy it's hard to get his attention.  I'm at the end of my rope.
