Agreed, take a 10 panel STD test and know your true sexual health. Genital warts are just cosmetic issues and they go away for most people. But if you are super stressed or depressed, they take longer to go away.  8 out of 10 sexually active adults have HPV in the USA and Europe. The low risk kind produces warts. No relationship to HIV at all.

ah ok. just can say hpv(all sub types so also warts) is so common that experts think that more than 70% of all people have been infected once in their lives. Only 1% of all AGW(Genital warts) will get the real warts, so you can imagine how many people should be infected with it. It can be that you have been infected with it long ago. Sometimes it takes up to 12 month before it will give symptoms.

I don't think you need psychological help yet, only a full STD test. Then when you see you are negative this hopefully will give you an ease of mind! And the STD testings are very reliable if you do it at the right times!!

Hi, first of all I would like to urge you to go to the STD clinic to test yourself and your BF! You seem to have big anxiety and will keep looking for symptoms/links to HIV. Really please stop with that, HPV has nothing to do with HIV and isn't a sign at all! You look at the wrong sites. I also already mentioned to you before that I personally think HIV is not really your issue and the chance for HIV is overal not huge with having only unprotected vaginal sex. Because not many people have it in the western countries, also the transmission rate from man to female is per act (if your partner has HIV and has high viral load) is approx 0,3% per act. Ofcourse this is still a risk, so please get tested! (importantly also your BF) Really HIV is pretty hard to transmit and the chance on Chlamydia and Gonnorhoe etc is bigger.

Ps. Is your HPV diagnosed by a STD clinic or a normal doctor? This because it also could be that it's a normal wart but in the genital location and I have seen  people being misdiagnosed.

I do have anxiety :/ it was diagnosed by my gyno. Im always reading things online and it scares me. I read hiv + people are most likely to have genital warts, which is what I have. Im freaking out because now im thinking I have hiv because I developed warts. I need psychological help I guess. Thank you
