Is there a cure

I was diagnoised with warts in 1992. I was injected for weeks with meds that did not work. The Doctor then gave
me two seperate laser treatments. I never saw but 4 warts during the entire ordeal. I had sex with other women an
everything was ok for awhile then another partner told me she was infected. Since this time I have not seen another wart. I am recently diviorced however, I am interested in dating. Is there a cure? I have not kept up. Also is there a
recomended site to meet other people in my shape?

It sounds like your warts have gone into dormancy and she may have gotten the warts from someone other than you as they are very common (to my understanding). No one will ver know unfortunately

No medication treatment of wart exist even today. The body immune system would eventually eliminate the hpv infection. In term of the virus, your body would create antibodies that will fight it and stop replicating.

Straight copy and paste from CDC about HPV.

HPV types are often referred to as “low-risk” (wart-causing) or “high-risk” (cancer-causing), based on whether they put a person at risk for cancer. In 90% of cases, the body’s immune system clears the HPV infection naturally within two years. This is true of both high-risk and low-risk types.

In most cases, the body fights off HPV naturally and the infected cells then go back to normal.

Sometimes, low-risk types of HPV can cause visible changes that take the form of genital warts.

End quote from CDC.
